Dry Cupping in Hamilton, Leicester

What is dry cupping?
Dry cupping is a traditional therapy that uses special cups placed on the skin to create a gentle suction. This technique is thought to encourage circulation, ease muscular tension, and provide a sense of release in the treated area.
At Bodyveda, we use cupping as part of a holistic approach to care, always adapting the treatment to your comfort and individual needs.
Note: Dry cupping is a complementary therapy. It is not a substitute for medical treatment. If we feel you may benefit from medical input, we’ll guide you appropriately.
Our approach at Bodyveda
-
Gentle and safe: We use modern, hygienic cupping equipment, applied with care.
-
Adapted to you: The level of suction and duration are adjusted depending on your comfort.
-
Whole-body perspective: We consider posture, lifestyle, and movement alongside the cupping treatment.
Why people choose dry cupping
People often choose cupping to:
-
Ease feelings of tightness or stiffness in the muscles
-
Support circulation and local tissue health
-
Complement training, sport, or active lifestyles
-
Explore a traditional therapy within a holistic approach to care
Please note: While cupping may help some people feel more relaxed and mobile, we do not claim it treats or cures medical conditions.

What to expect at your session
-
Consultation – We begin with a short discussion about your goals, health history, and any preferences.
-
Treatment – Cups are gently placed on selected areas, creating suction through a manual pump or flame-free method. The cups may remain still or be moved lightly across the skin (“gliding cupping”), depending on your comfort.
-
Aftercare – You may notice light circular marks where cups have been applied — this is normal and fades within a few days. We’ll offer simple guidance such as hydration and pacing to support your body after treatment.
Safety & professionalism
-
Only clean, professional-grade equipment is used.
-
The treatment is adapted to your tolerance — suction strength and duration can always be reduced.
-
We will not apply cupping over broken skin or areas where it may not be appropriate.
-
If cupping isn’t suitable for you, we’ll suggest other options.
